Our first Photos with Stories of the year is fast approaching! Legendary photographer Jay Blakesberg continues to combine his love for photography and music by sharing impactful moments and stories from some of the most iconic and interesting people in rock ‘n’ roll.
In 1970, Bob Barsotti began his adventure in rock working for the late great rock impresario Bill Graham. For the next three decades, Bob’s work with the Bill Graham Presents team helped shape how concert-goers experienced live music. Closing of Winterland, Grateful Dead in Egypt, New Year’s Eve with the Grateful Dead, The Who, The Stones, Zeppelin, Bob was there!

The Bill Graham Memorial Foundation
The Bill Graham Memorial Foundation, was formed in January of 2008 in memory of the legendary rock impresario, Bill Graham. The foundation is a public charity that is funded through individual and corporate contributions and grants.
The Foundation is guided by a broad-based group which includes Bill’s sons, several former long-time employees of Bill Graham Presents and other community leaders.
The Mission of the Bill Graham Memorial Foundation is the administration of grants primarily in the areas of music, the arts and education while also supporting social work, environmental protection and spiritual and compassionate projects in the community. The Foundation also organizes and implements education and outreach programs, exhibitions and other events and projects in like areas which carry Bill Graham’s life story forward and keep his spirit of philanthropy alive.
