About Photos With Stories: The Rock and Roll Photography of Blair Jackson

Jay Blakesberg to Host Photos With Stories: The Rock and Roll Photography of Blair Jackson on Sunday, August 16 at 2PM

Let’s go down the road with Blair Jackson, the co-founder, publisher, and editor of legendary Grateful Dead fanzine, The Golden Road — which published from 1984 – 1993. The Golden Road was a fan magazine dedicated to the Grateful Dead filled with interviews, stories, anecdotes, and photos from tour.

A longtime chronicler of the Grateful Dead scene, Blair Jackson has stories to tell and experiences to share, so bring your curiosity and an open mind! Host Jay Blakesberg, who was a frequent contributor to The Golden Road, will take part by featuring some of his photos and memories. It’s going to be a very special edition of Photos with Stories, happening on August 16 at 2PM ET.

Donations will be gratefully accepted to support Rex Foundation, created by members of the Grateful Dead and Friends in 1983 as a charitable non-profit organization to proactively provide extensive community support to creative endeavors in the arts, sciences, and education. We’re honored to support their mission to help to secure a healthy environment, promote individuality in the arts, provide support to critical and necessary social services, assist others less fortunate than ourselves, protect the rights of indigenous people and ensure their cultural survival, build a stronger community, and educate children.
