About DJead Night
The timeless sounds of the Grateful Dead straight to your front door on Thursday, May 21 on FANS
Threes Brewing is a Brooklyn-based brewery known for making craft beers that are elegant yet approachable, with a focus on lagers, hop-forward ales, saisons and mixed culture beers. Threes Brewing has hosted a Monthly “DJead Night” every year since they opened their doors in 2014 and recently celebrated their 5-year anniversary hosting this event. Threes is honored to partner with Relix and two of their resident Grateful Dead DJs – Conrad Doucette (Garden of the Ark, Day of the Dead) & Scott Devendorf (The National, Day of the Dead) for a virtual DJead Night.
Threes Brewing closed both their Brooklyn bars on March 15 and had to lay off 90% of their incredible Front Of House staff as a direct result of the COVID-19 Pandemic. We will be “passing around” a virtual tip bucket during the DJead Night Livestream and 100% of the money collected will go directly to Threes Brewing staff to support them during this difficult time. They’re also accepting donations via GoFundMe for those who can’t make the stream but still want to help. If you live in New York, you can recreate the tradition of Dead Night at Threes, by getting Threes beer delivered to you! Visit shop.threesbrewing.com and use promo code DJEADNIGHT to get 10% off your purchase of beer from now until May 14.
As an added bonus, the first 25 people who purchase a full case of any beer with the promo code will receive a custom Darryl Norsen print free with delivery. Darryl is an artist who will be continuing the tradition of designing the poster art for Dead Night at Threes Brewing and his graphics will also grace our virtual stage during the livestream.
This won’t be your ordinary stream. Get ready to show off your dance moves for the chance to Be In The Stream as FANS provides viewers the opportunity to be showcased from the comfort of their home. Venues may be closed, but we’re taking the live music experience to you with a virtual “DJead Night” on Thursday, May 21.
